Timothy Kim
Managing Director
Mr. Kim currently serves as the Managing Director of Property Tax Advisors.
Prior to joining PTA, Mr. Kim worked at Realty Club, Prospect Capital Group, and Marcus & Millichap. Mr. Kim has a wide range of experience from transactions, appraisal, to real estate analysis. Mr. Kim joined PTA founder Gary Poltash in 2008 at the beginning of the Great Recession and grew the company into the #1 tax appeal firm in California. Since then, Mr. Kim has represented over 25,000 property owners, contesting more than $300B in commercial and residential property values across all California counties.
Mr. Kim holds a B.S. from UCLA. He is a member of ULI and served on the Board of Directors for the California Alliance of Taxpayer Advocates. Mr. Kim is bilingual in English and Korean.
Jason Dolce
Director of Real Property Appeal Services
Jason Dolce joined Property Tax Advisors in 2008. He currently serves as our Director Real Property Appeals Services.
Previous to PTA, Mr. Dolce was Sales Director for Costar, Commercial Broker for Coldwell Banker, and Director of Client Services at Xceligent and Continental Funding Group. He brings extensive experience commanding sales teams in both Environmental Risk Information and Commercial Real Estate big data.
Mr. Dolce holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Management, General Finance from Fairfield University.
Alen Xue
Director of Market Research
Mr. Xue joined Property Tax Advisors in 2012. He currently serves as our Director of Market Research.
Mr. Xue leads our Valuations group which has developed advanced technologies and web based solutions to analyze and formulate cutting edge appraisals for real estate tax appeals for all property types. He also oversees the Market Research team which analyzes reports and forecasts using County Assessor roll data, real estate market data, and property profile data.
Mr. Xue holds a B.S. & M.S. from USC in Statistics and Public Administration. He is an enrolled Tax Agent. Mr. Xue is bilingual in English and Mandarin.
Thiago Matos De Araujo
CTO
Mr. Araujo joined Property Tax Advisors in 2020. He currently serves as our Chief Technology Officer.
Mr. Araujo has a proven track record of leading organizations through business-oriented digital transformations. Mr. Araujo works closely with lines of business leaders to identify requirements and opportunities for innovation and enabling technologies. Combines a high-energy, collaborative work style, with the ability to harness agility and responsiveness to build a high-performing digital culture.
Mr. Araujo holds a double B.S. in Computer Science from Universidade Estacio de Sa. Mr. Araujo is trilingual in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Logan Baird
Senior Tax Consultant
Mr. Baird joined Property Tax Advisors in 2021. Mr. Baird is a lead member of our Tax Consultant team.
Prior to joining PTA, Logan served as a commercial broker for Sperry Van Ness Los Angeles and as acquisition analyst for BOMAR Partners. Mr. Baird brings innovative experience to real estate valuations and their processes.
Mr. Baird has a B.A. in Business Administration, Real Estate from Purdue University. Mr. Baird is an enrolled Tax Agent and is certified in Real Estate Financial Modeling.
Stephanie Estrada
Operations
Ms. Estrada joined Property Tax Advisors in 2016 as Operations Manager. She overseas all levels of organization at PTA.
Previous to PTA, Ms. Estrada was as an escrow coordinator and operations manager at a property management firm in Los Angeles. Ms. Estrada is bilingual in English and Spanish.
Ms. Estrada holds a B.A. and M.A. from CSULB in Industrial Psychology.
Pedro Agaton
Client Relations Manager
Prior to joining PTA, Pedro served as a Paralegal for a Real Estate Law Firm in Los Angeles.
Mr. Agaton holds a B.S. in Economics from University of California, Santa Cruz.
